The treatment of patients with post-burn cicatricial esophageal stenosis is associated with considerable challenges due to inflammation, edema of the prestenotic esophagus as a result of traumatization by probes and prolonged contact with food masses. This aggravates the already slow passage of food and, therefore, worsens the nutritional status of patients. Reduction of inflammation and edema requires the use of medications that contribute to the relief of these pathological changes. The positive effect on the mucous membrane, the anti-edema effect was observed during the use of oral intestinal adsorbents (enterosorbents).

With regard for the role of bacterial and viral toxins' and proteases in the pathogenesis of septic forms of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis, the use of enteral detoxication in the pediatric practice has been substantiated. The authors within 1988—1989, in 35 newborns with septic forms of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis used for detoxication the «Enterosgel» preparation. Control of the state of patients was accomplished by means of bacteriologic, biochemical and immunologic methods. A high detoxicative and antiinflammatory activity of the preparation and its harmlessness for the newborns have been proved.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is one of the most common complications of obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2). The structural trace of metabolic changes in the liver during the development of obesity and DM2 is largely determined by the status of sinusoidal cells involved in the formation of the blood — lymph barrier, including epithelial, Kupffer, Ito, and Pit cells [1]. Endothelial cells of hepatic sinusoids express the lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronan receptor marker LYVE-1 [10]. The expression of LYVE-1 in the liver in DM2 and the relationship between LYVE-1 expression and structural and functional changes in the hepatic vessels are not been studied.

THE STARTING THERAPY OF COLIBACILLOSIS IN CHILDREN, 2016

The colibacillosis are wildly spread all over the world and takes leading positions in etiological structure of acute intestinal infections in children. In our country, due to diagnostic difficulties, rate of registration of colibacillosis is low. The clinical epidemiological characteristics and issues of differentiated diagnostic of the given disease are studied insufficiently. Until nowadays, common approaches to therapy are lacking. The article presents evaluation of therapeutic activity of various methods of start therapy of colibacillosis in children. The clinical efficiency of various classes of antibacterial medications and enterosorbents are presented.

REMOTE RESULTS OF OBSERAVTION OVER THE PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS WITH COMORBID INTESTINAL DISBACTERIOSIS, 2016

Remote results of a comprehensive treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis with comorbid intestinal disbacteriosis after additional administration of Quercetin, Bifilact extra and Enterosgel to the standard therapy were analyzed. It was found that after administration of a comprehensive therapy including the above mentioned medicines the course of the disease of patients with RA and their general condition improved, the period or remission became longer, the necessity of repeated admissions to the hospital decreased.

Thus, the high efficiency of enterosorbent Enterosgel, its selective sorption action, simplicity and safety, and the possibility of a combination with other medications allow the medical officer to optimize the therapeutic tactics in various diseases of the liver, to achieve high efficiency and reduce time of treatment and rehabilitation of patients.

The high effectiveness of intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent) Enterosgel as a detoxifying agent in infectious and inflammatory diseases is associated with its ability to adsorb MWM and pathogenic micro-organisms, thereby positively influencing the cellular and humoral immunity. Enterosgel contributes to enhancing the functional activity of neutrophilic granulocytes to the level of subcompensation. Enterosorption with Enterosgel contributes to restoring the functional activity of T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes.
