Remote results of a comprehensive treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis with comorbid intestinal disbacteriosis after additional administration of Quercetin, Bifilact extra and Enterosgel to the standard therapy were analyzed. It was found that after administration of a comprehensive therapy including the above mentioned medicines the course of the disease of patients with RA and their general condition improved, the period or remission became longer, the necessity of repeated admissions to the hospital decreased.

The high effectiveness of intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent) Enterosgel as a detoxifying agent in infectious and inflammatory diseases is associated with its ability to adsorb MWM and pathogenic micro-organisms, thereby positively influencing the cellular and humoral immunity. Enterosgel contributes to enhancing the functional activity of neutrophilic granulocytes to the level of subcompensation. Enterosorption with Enterosgel contributes to restoring the functional activity of T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes.

The use of enterosorption with Enterosgel medication in combination therapy of children with acute pyelonephritis reduces the toxic load on the neutrophilic granulocytes and contributes to the preservation of functional activity of the given cells at subcompensated level, reducing the risk of generalization of infection and the development of associated complications.
The use of Enterosgel medication in combination therapy of children with acute glomerulonephritis promotes preservation of the functional activity of monocytes and optimization of their participation in the mechanisms of antigen presentation to immune cells, which reduces the risk of autoimmune complications.

In patients with active UC there is a significant decompensation of toxin-binding capacity of albumin. Meantime, involvement of globulins occurs in processes of toxins elimination, which alter their properties and can cause development of infectious complications in patients with UC.
Use of enterosorbent Enterosgel in combination treatment of patients with UC helps to reduce toxic load on natural detoxification systems and maintain optimal value of toxin-binding capacity of albumin. Meantime, decreased role of serum globulin fraction in detoxification processes maintains their basic functional capacities, thereby reducing the risk of infectious and autoimmune complications in patients with UC.
The study of efficiency and safeťy of application of Enterosgel administered for tfeatment of patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome had demonstrated safety and efficiency of the study medication.
Evaluation according to GSRS showed significant reduction on the scales of abdominal pain, diarrhea syndrome, dyspeptic syndrome as well as on the total measure scale. Accorcling to EGG. while studying MEA, a tendency towards normalization of GIT motor-evacuation function is evident.
