Main directions and clinical recommendations ON TREATMENT OF ACUTE INTESTINAL INFECTIONS IN CHILDREN AT THE PRESENT STAGE

Acute intestinal infections in children are manifested by various types of diarrhoea depending on the causes of intestinal lesions. Etiotropic and pathogenetic therapy is the basis of AII treatment: probiotics, enterosorbents and immunomodulators. Antibacterial etiotropic therapy is indicated in case of ineffectiveness of the background treatment, as well as in severe course of AII.*
